Willow Leaf Palm position 3 differs from position 1 in that the fingers are near or are touching the inner elbow. When the fingers are under the elbow in the Bridge Position, it is considered Willow Leaf Palm position 5/6. For position 6, it makes little difference if the elbow is only over the fingertips or if the elbow is over the mid finger area. Both will achieve the same results.
