Jow refers to a group of herbal remedies.  These herbal remedies were recorded by monks, shamans, and other martial practicioners over a period of 1500 years.  There are formulas for a variety of training procedures, injuries, and other health related issues.  Jow may be administered as a liniment, pack or pill.

There are several things to keep in mind when it comes to jow.  Jow should only be cured in a glass or ceramic container and should never come in contact with metal.  Jow will leach contaminants from metal, which will in turn be absorbed into your skin when you apply it.  Also, care should be taken not to expose jow to direct sunlight.  Finally, do not cross contaminate your jow during use.  To avoid cross contimation, always separate jow into small containers, and when doing procedurers that involve soaking, always separate the jow to a smaller container and do not pour it back into the larger container after soaking.

Jow formulas are priceless. They were written in the time when man had a communion with nature and lived off the land.  They were written by practioners after decades of study and on a foundation of 1000 years of understanding.  The longer a jow cures, and the longer it sits, the morre qi will be concentrated within.  Jow has a high affinity for qi and will continually attract qi over time.  Thereby the value of a jo is increased as its age increases.
